Stork Delivers DeFi Oracle for Arc’s Winning Projects at ETHGlobal HackMoney

February 18, 2026

When ETHGlobal launched HackMoney 2025, 155 teams converged on the Arc Testnet to build the next generation of stablecoin-native applications. Every one of those teams had access to the same DeFi oracle: Stork, providing real-time price data across the Arc ecosystem.

Arc, Circle's Layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoin finance, served as the testing ground for applications ranging from institutional FX trading to AI-powered commerce. Two winners in particular, arctan(x) and Versus, showcased how reliable DeFi oracle infrastructure enables entirely new classes of onchain financial products.

Building Institutional-Grade FX on Arc

The arctan(x) team took first place in Arc's "Best Chain-Abstracted USDC Apps" category by building what its team describes as a chain-agnostic, institutional-grade FX DEX. The platform delivers unified multichain balances and capital-efficient cross-chain margin, using oracle price feeds accurate and reliable enough to support institutional trading desks.

In traditional FX markets, price discovery and execution happen against trusted reference rates. The onchain equivalent demands the same level of precision, except the data must reach multiple blockchains simultaneously. Stork's feeds provided the cross-chain price consistency arctan(x) needed to mark positions and calculate margin requirements without introducing exploitable arbitrage gaps.

Autonomous Agents Trading Creator Tokens

Versus won Arc's "Best Agentic Commerce App Powered by RWAs" category with a platform where AI agents operate as independent economic actors—creating content, earning micropayments, and trading revenue-backed creator tokens without human intervention.

Stork's sub-millisecond price updates gave Versus the foundation to let AI agents trade creator tokens in real time. The platform uses Circle Wallets for agent treasuries, Arc as the execution layer, and Gateway for cross-chain settlement. The economic activity (agents deciding when to buy or sell based on content performance and token dynamics) runs on oracle-fed smart contracts. It's a preview of what oracle-dependent agentic finance looks like at the intersection of RWAs and AI.

DeFi Oracle as Ecosystem Infrastructure

Stork's role at HackMoney went beyond serving two winning teams. By providing price feeds to hackathon teams together, Stork and Arc demonstrated how DeFi oracles function as foundational innovation enablers, making it possible for teams within a DeFi ecosystem to realize a wide range of visions. Congratulations to all the HackMoney hackathon finalists and all the Arc bounty winners!

Stork has proven its high uptime, low latency and broad coverage across perpetual DEXs, the most demanding use case in DeFi. The same infrastructure that handles sub-millisecond price updates for high-frequency perp traders also serves lending protocols that prioritize accuracy and uptime, and RWA platforms that need innovative solutions for RWA derivatives.

What's Next

The projects built at HackMoney show what’s possible on Arc and beyond. For blockchain ecosystems, hackathon organizers, and teams building the next generation of DeFi infrastructure, Stork's oracle feeds are available today across EVM and non-EVM chains. Stork's established use cases range from crypto-native DeFi lending and trading, to RWA finance applications that use RWAs as collateral, equity perps that enable 24-hr, leveraged, directional investment in equities, and the broader range of RWA perps that enable similar access to commodities and other assets.

Whether you're growing an L1 DeFi ecosystem, running the next major hackathon, or building protocols that depend on institutional-grade price data, reach out at stork.network/contact to explore how Stork can serve as your ecosystem's oracle infrastructure from day one.
